This is the first headlight upgrade to retain the stock popup mechanism. There is only a VERY small amount of cutting involved and the car can easily be returned to 100% stock. The kit features a carbon fiber mounting plate and bezel, 6061-T6 aluminum brackets, and all stainless hardware. Hella 90mm low beams are used and PIAA high beams. The beam pattern of these lights are EXCELLENT. The popup style lights have none of the lower beam cutoff and upper reflection problems associated with "sleek light" kits. Some other kits also require permanent modification to the car.
My HID upgrade is more expensive than some other places and there is a good reason for this. I use Hella housings that are designed for HID. There are very important differences between the halogen housings and the HID housings and you can not just convert them back and forth. Mine are designed for HID and are DOT approved for HID unlike a conversion.
Each kit includes the following:
2 90mm Hella low beam modules with 65w H9 bulbs
2 PIAA high beam modules with 55w H3 bulbs
2 Carbon fiber and 6061 mounting brackets
2 Wiring harnesses that plug directly into the stock H4 connector
2 custom made carbon fiber bezels which replace the stock black plastic cover
